my first anniversary with the blog

Today I’m having a party for myself, and basically by myself, to celebrate my first full year of blogging. 365 days ago today, I wrote my first, tiny, and really boring blog post. I believe the content has improved drastically in 12 months. I hope you think so, too. Let’s review the year with some fun number dropping, shall we?

Here are the stats, via infographics, because they are fun:

As I was searching out the stats, I found something that I thought to be particularly interesting. So here you have it:

Seriously, though. I have had a blast oversharing my soul and my undertakings with you over the last year and I have no plans to quit anytime soon. I have learned through blogging that I have plenty to say (believe it or not, I was actually worried about that when I started out!), I value having some kind of a documentation of my life, even the mundane parts, and it doesn’t take long for me to be tired and unsatisfied with the design of my blog. 🙂 This means I am setting goals for myself to 1) post more often, 2) take lots more photos, and 3) make a game plan for organizing and face-lifting the blog to make it a little more interactive (so I can talk more with y’all) and a little more user-friendly. All this rambling is just to say, if you come here every so often to check in, I appreciate it, and I’m humbled that you would want to hear anything I have to say or see anything I choose to do. It means a good deal to me. So, thanks!
