Senior

"proud" doesn't even begin to describe it

You may have no idea how you got to this point already, but here you are, planning for the final year of high school! There’s no need to convince you of the need to celebrate everything this milestone means for both student and parent. It’s kind of a big deal! Let’s get you ready for all the congratulations coming your way with photos that showcase just what makes this year so incredible.

Good to Know

01

let's be real

I have zero interest in making you look like anything but your very best self. Great news - I know how to do just that! I will put any nerves at ease as we make this process fun and painless. You can count on seeing your most genuine smile in your photos.
02

no compromise necessary

You shouldn’t have to choose between pictures you love and the ones your parents want. Let’s get both! My photos are personal, FUN, modern and relaxed, yet always classy and timeless. It's perfectly normal to be obsessed with your gallery and for mom and dad to spill proud, happy tears as you scroll your images together.
03

allow me to make this easy

By trusting someone with my experience and simple approach, you'll find this process almost too easy. I will guide you through the details that make your session a success, provide you with optional print ordering straight from your gallery and even handle the logistics of submitting a fantastic yearbook photo.

FAQs

01. When should I schedule my senior session?

Most seniors schedule photos between April and early September, prior to the beginning of your senior year. I release my availability quarterly, approximately 6 weeks ahead of each block of dates. It’s never too early to begin asking questions and planning, so feel free to reach out anytime.

02. Where do sessions take place?

There are sooo many options! I love helping select locations that complement the style of your session and lend visual variety and interest to your photos. Usually, we’ll visit 2-3 outdoor locations in or around Lincoln. If you’re interested in renting an indoor studio space, please inquire for availability.

03. How many outfits do I need?

I recommend 3-4 outfit changes (at least different tops). Style and formality ranges depending on personality. You can keep things casual, dress it up or have a mix of the two. Consider the various ways you’ll be using the images from your gallery, and make sure you feel comfortable and can easily move in your selections.

04. Should my session highlight my activities / interests / hobbies?

Another personal preference! If your activities are an important part of your life, senior photos can be a wonderful opportunity to honor the time and effort you’ve invested in them. Let’s get creative and incorporate aspects of the things that bring you joy!

05. Who should come along to the session?

It’s quite helpful to have a bit of support at your session. Usually at least one parent comes along to help with logistics. Some seniors even bring a good friend or favorite sibling who can always make them laugh, though generally I recommend no more than two spectators.

Testimonials

Jenny is an incredibly talented photographer and was super easy to be around. Going into my senior photos, I was not sure how to pose or where the best locations would be to give life and energy to my photos. She was knowledgeable of the Lincoln area and was accommodating to my vision. Jenny was conversational and her kindness allowed me to feel very comfortable during my session. All in all, I will be recommending her to everyone!!

I knew I wanted Jenny to take my senior pictures because she is such an easygoing person and her photos always look so natural. She is super flexible and made sure to incorporate things that reflected my interests and personality. Jenny did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable the whole time, especially since it was just me in the pictures. She is a good listener and made sure none of the poses were awkward. I love how my seniors turned out because of her great eye for details.
Haley, Class of '21
I had an amazing experience working with Jenny during my senior photos. I didn't give her much direction in terms of what I wanted, but she still gave me a lot of different options. I love how my photos turned out, and most importantly, she was just one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting!
