It’s bittersweet to be posting my final high school senior of the year! I absolutely loved working with Vaughn. He has a steady and calm character, and handled the spotlight of being photographed solo like it was no big deal. That’s not easy! We covered a lot of ground, starting in the vibrant Haymarket, then […]
I’m so pleased to welcome Connor to the blog today! While we were photographing his session, something about his poise and steady personality told me these portraits were going to be standouts, and I was not disappointed. It’s safe to say he crushed these! Comfortable. Smart. Genuine. Open. Unassuming. Connor’s list of great qualities is […]
I’ve been so impressed with all the seniors I’ve photographed this year, and Andrew just keeps that trend going! This kid is incredibly likable, has a fantastic smile, and seems to bring energy to everything he does. He is certainly headed out into the world to accomplish great things. The suit was a fantastic choice! […]
I’m buzzing with excitement over the photos I get to share here today! Getting to know Maggie was a pure delight. Her confidence floored me – it’s on a whole different level than most kids her age. The hours we spent capturing alllll the different facets of her personality were so sparkly and golden. I […]
I’m lucky to share another talented and endlessly likable senior with you today! When you think about your hopes for the kind of person your kid will grow up to be, or the type of friend you want your kids to have, the person you’re probably thinking of is Scott. Kind, capable, quietly confident, in […]
Carter is a senior! Somehow, it’s true – this kid I first photographed almost ten years ago is confident, accomplished, so very kind AND almost done with high school. It was so fun to celebrate this milestone of his! Carter has an enviable ease he seems to bring into everything he does, and he’s just […]
Pure joy! That’s what it was to work with this stunning lady. I have had the pleasure of knowing Emery since she was little, and have witnessed her grow up into such a remarkable person. She is a treasure, loved by so many people, and we’ve both been looking forward to her senior session for […]
The class of 2027 is taking center stage! Lexi’s senior session was a blast! What a truly lovely lady. I liked her immediately and get the feeling she has that effect on everyone she meets. Lexi is genuine, relatable, and doesn’t seem to let the little things bother her. Her smile is my favorite – […]
I’m so excited to share this one with you. What a phenomenal senior session with Cara! She is so talented and sweet. I had so much fun capturing all her delightfulness. She is just so lovely! Cara’s smile is totally infectious and ever present. I can never help wondering where seniors are heading in life […]
A little bit of whimsy was perfect for Helayna’s senior session! She was drawn to a dreamy, fairytale setting for these, but her own ethereal quality made the session pure magic. I absolutely love when creative seniors put so much of themselves and their ideas into their photos. Isn’t she perfect surrounded by so much […]
The lovely Leah joined me for a mini session to kick off her senior year of high school! I really enjoyed getting to know Leah and seeing her unique personality find its way into her photos. She made us both laugh throughout our time! Love this one! Congratulations on your senior year, Leah! I hope […]
I’m honored to have another fantastic senior on the blog today! Cody made his session a total breeze. His casual, easy-going nature is all over these photos. We covered a lot of ground during this session, and Cody had no complaints. He is genuine, game for anything and has a ready smile. You won’t have […]
Recommended soundtrack for viewing the following photos: “This Girl is On Fire” by Alicia Keys. Of course! Holy smokes, this was a fun one! Rachel is contagiously smiley and has the most beautiful energy about her. We took the ‘fun level’ of her photos very seriously, and I’m in love with the results. The light, […]
I love a good colorful session, and I love a senior who shows up ready to have a great time during said session. Tatum scored this winning combination and definitely brought her A-game! We covered a LOT of ground, and she just kept serving up this beautiful, genuine smile all evening long. I’m a huge […]
You guys, I could not be more excited to kick off this year’s seniors with Nusrat’s lovely and vibrant session at the Sunken Gardens! The stunning florals have nothing on this gem of a girl. She is an absolute force, and it was such a pleasure getting to know her. Words seem a little unnecessary […]
This senior session! It would be impossible to capture the full force of Isabella’s creativity in photos, but dang, did we try! Her ideas for her session were inspiring, and I am so in love with the result. One-of-a-kind, ethereal, and radiant – everything she is. Isn’t she the loveliest? I’ve had the pleasure of […]
In the books: Miles’ Senior Session! It has been a summer filled photographing with amazing seniors, and Miles is no exception. So much fun getting to know him, and of course, discovering what makes him laugh. 🙂 Miles has this awesome full-fledged grin, but his subtle contented smile seems the most on-brand for him. Ok, […]
