the loos family

a laid-back family portrait session at the sheldon sculpture gardens in lincoln, nebraska

Doesn’t this dear family bring an immediate smile to your face? It’s unavoidable! Time with the Loos crew is simply a treasure, a fact I was well aware of when we met outside UNL’s Sheldon Museum of Art for what was sure to be a beautiful night for photos. That’s exactly what it turned out to be!

Abel is an eighth-grader – an easy age at which to renounce enjoyment of just about anything – but that’s not what you’ll find with this kid. He is quick to laugh, enthusiastic about his interests and a thoughtful conversationalist. Kids these days are just awesome. 🙂

This delightful young lady is a photographer’s dream. Elanor’s happy place is in the spotlight, and she brings such a fun-filled energy to whatever she does. I adore her confidence and sparkly personality!

There’s some definite “like mother, like daughter” vibes between these two, and I see it most in their smiley eyes.

The things being said and laughed about in the photo on the left will remain unwritten in this blog post, but trust me, that laughter is the real deal. The rapport between this father and son duo is fantastic. Ben and Abel are very same-same!

My favorite!

I’ve never seen these two argue – maybe it happens, but they could fool me into thinking they’re just a perfect pair of siblings.

Loos family, you made my job REALLY easy by just showing up as you are and truly having fun with one another. Grateful for a lovely evening documenting all the beautiful dynamics you share as a fam!
