This family is pretty extraordinary. They are precious to so many people, myself included. I met Tyler and Joy at the University of Nebraska when we were all students together, way before they were dating…married…having a cute baby boy. They’re just the people you want to follow out to the family farm to photograph their sweet, contagious zest for life. Baby drool!!! This is one thing I pretty much refuse to photoshop out of an image. It is real life, people, and it’s adorable!
Farms are kinda my new jam since this session. So….who’s next? (Must have a farm…)My favorite thing about this photographing this family was watching Joy love on her baby boy. He is so meaningful to her story, and she does not hold back. This is one of my favorite images. Quincy was so curious about me with my camera he was in serious face mode a lot of the night. So when that smile came out, I was not about to miss it. Score! Joy, you’re so beautiful. You were intently listening to Tyler here, and I love how focused you are on him. Dads holding babies = the best. There’s something so secure, yet gentle about this photo. Another favorite.
