the schnick family

It’s stand-out families like these that make me reflect in the best way on how many years I’ve been at this work of photographing people with their favorite people. It sneaks up on me, that number, growing slowly and steadily all the time. 🙂 The first time I got to work with Justin and Melissa’s family was in 2016. A lot changes in 9 years (like height!) but their warmth, humor and general awesomeness have certainly not.

Connor is so great – he is the definition of a good sport! I appreciate his quiet steadiness and that his goofy side is always ready to make an appearance.

If you know Emery, you just have to love her! She is gorgeous inside and out, creative and kind. She’s just a total joy.

Say hello to Hoz! Every single person in the family adores him, so we of course ended our session at home so he could get in on the fun. He was very coy about it, but gosh, wouldn’t you just do anything for him? I would.
