When the best kind of people make a baby, it’s just the best kind of day when you get to meet her! Zoe is absolutely dreamy, and the pride on these new parents’ faces is golden. I’m so happy for this sweet family!

Kids just don’t get cuter. They don’t.

Motherhood is beautiful on Emily. She is so creative and colorful, fun-loving and nurturing. I think these ladies are going to have loads of fun together.

I probably would have been disappointed if Emily and Aaron would have produced a less colorful blanket to photograph their child on because it just wouldn’t have felt right. 😉 Do you guys remember their jaw-dropping wedding?? All the colors on all the things and it was so perfect.

Sometimes photos seem to hide the truth when they appear idyllic (could this much joy and peace really be going on inside a home with a newborn in it??), so I feel the need to confirm that the happiness on Emily’s face here is in fact legit. Being in their home, there was such a strong feeling of contentment and a deep calm. I’m sure there are *those moments*, but these were the undercurrents that are surely keeping them afloat as they navigate all the new things that have entered their world along with Zoe.

Aaron, you’re bound to be a very cool dad, but I hope you’re also working on a good stash of Dad Jokes to produce giggles and eventually eye-rolls from this little peanut.

Emily & Aaron, I’m so thankful you shared the beauty of your girl and your family with me. You are off to the best start with Zoe, and I can’t wait to witness the adventure ahead. Cheers to her and cheers to you.
