Uh oh… it’s almost birthday time! Which means last year at this time, I was in full belly mode, anxiously awaiting little miss’s arrival. I remember it was HOT, I could hardly remember not being pregnant, we were only 90% decided on her name, and we were dying to know what she would look like. It is so strangely wonderful to be approaching the same date this year knowing our girl so well and getting to spend time playing with and keeping up with her sweet self every day. (Emphasis on the “keeping up” – she took her first steps!)

She’s the cutest and the sweetest (I’m allowed to use superlatives on my own kid), and we love her. Birthday cake is so close she can taste it!
But not, really.
