the orton family

Well, I’m pretty behind on blogging. I thought I’d post these immediately after my sweet nephew was born and here it is, a whole month later, and I already have a niece to go with him(!), and still I haven’t shared any photos. I also need to post pictures of our bathroom remodel we completed in April, nursery progress, maybe a belly photo or two, snapshots from our mini babymoon to Minnesota…you know. Lots of things. But today, I finally have photos ready of the amazing Will Samuel Orton, my sister’s baby.

He was born May 28. He’s perfect and sweet and soft and likes to cuddle with me on my baby bump, which makes us kind of an awkward pair, but I don’t care. I love him so much.

The last month has been a unique, special, and in many ways overwhelming time. My family is growing like crazy, and everyone has new roles to figure out. We are soaking it up and learning as we go. My parents are grandparents, which has been incredible for them, to say the least.

A few days after he was born, we tried a newborn photo session. I love taking pictures of this boy. Get used to it, Will.

I’m partial, but ya know, he’s really just the best. 🙂 Lots more baby love to come soon.
