i miss you, blog

Hey! It’s been a month. Wow. Isn’t that just how it goes sometimes? We have had so much going on. Namely, our bathroom remodel project is underway and actually almost done! What we naively hoped would be a 3 week project, 4 max, is turning out to be about a 7 week ordeal. Gross. As a result, no blogging, no doing much of anything BUT working on the bathroom, no sleeping without dreaming about putting up the tile wrong. *Sigh* We’re so close though now I can smell it. Not the bathroom…the end of the project. Hehe. Here are a few tantalizing progress shots.

I got a new phone with a much better camera which is great because I have all these quick photos and not-so-great because I really am lazy about getting out my DSLR at home now. Anyway, in other news, I’m still growing a baby, which is the weirdest experience of my life to date. She is a girl(!), a mighty kicker, and I think she’s cool with spicy food. These are the very few things I know so far about my daughter – I can’t wait to know her more. Oh and also she is going to have a brand new bathroom to grow up using. Awww.
