great outdoors, i miss you

Would it stop raining, already, so I can

a) get some sunshine on my poor, white-girl skin, AND

b) spend some much needed time outside!?!

I was really hoping to air out our tent and get to the campgrounds this weekend with a cooler of beer and brats. Mmm beer brats. Hy-Vee 10 for $10. The soggy, muddy ground is probably going to put a hold on that for at least another week. Bummer. I was looking through some old photos from last year and found these from a short, local camping trip we took with some friends (actually, mostly family!) last year. They were taken pre-blog so I never shared them, but now that I’m in the summer camping spirit once again, I thought they’d be fun to post. Plus it will motivate me to clean out the camping gear so I can actually go!
