The energy of these silly, fun, WILD boys is unmatched, and you’d better believe I love it! It’s amazing to see the changes in them after a year of the serious business of growing up. Some things are resolutely the same – they are perpetually excited, have all the great ideas, and are so dang cute and lovable it hurts.

Beckham & Jaxson. These two look more alike than ever!

For each of the last few years, we’ve updated their family photo collection with a session on their beautiful acreage. It is a little slice of heaven-in-Nebraska!

I love how Jaxson’s smile makes his eyes both sparkle and threaten to disappear. He is such a huge lover of fun and is basically in constant motion. It’s a wonder to see the world through his eyes as he explains to me everything he wants to do while we take pictures. 🙂

Beckham is closer and closer to keeping up with Jaxson, and has plenty of his own ideas to add to the mix. He is sweet to the core, and go-with-the-flow, with a clear and distinct affection for each of his family members. His smile is one to melt you!

I’m a fan of repeating this photo every time and kind of want to see a collection of them framed. AJ still gets impressive height hurling these boys of his in the air, much to their absolute delight.
