This delightful family was made even richer in personality, love and energy (at least for the kids) with the addition of baby Sorenson! He charts unbelievably high on the cutie scale – we’re talking 100th percentile. What an honor to hang out with him for a morning!

It was anything but dull! Who wants a boring life, anyway?

Big sister Hattie is in her element. She is catching on quickly to all the new highs and lows of loving a sibling, and they make the sweetest pair. I can’t wait to see their friendship blossom into a forever thing.

She may be a little big, but she can climb in, so I guess she gets to claim the crib until Sorenson takes over full time.

Here’s that beautiful boy. He was so chill and cool during his pictures – a perfect model!

I believe Sorenson is an advanced smiler. Look at that grin for dad! He must get it from this beauty on the right.

Emily & LJ, your little one is utterly perfect. Thank you so much for the window into your new normal. I’m cheering you on as you all continue to adjust, and wishing you plentiful rest but even more joy.
