They’re guaranteed to be some of mine, too. When I photograph a family, we show inhibitions the door and laugh hard together as I study their unique personalities and connections. I always come away with my heart full, and my face tired from smiling. I can’t wait to experience first-hand what makes your crew so full of life and magic.
Sessions are on-location and typically outdoors unless you prefer otherwise. I am always open to your ideas and places that are special to your family – even your home! Don’t worry if you aren’t sure where to start – I have a long list of location ideas.
If the forecast indicates within a day or two of the session that rain or other poor weather will pose a significant problem, the session will be rescheduled or possibly moved indoors. That said, my motto is generally to embrace the type of day we’re dealt and have fun with it! Unless conditions are extreme, flexibility is encouraged and appreciated.

When I was looking for a photographer to take our family photos, I chose Jenny because I loved the genuine emotions she was able to capture between parents and their kids. After meeting her the first time, I realized she's able to do that so well because she herself is so genuine. Photo sessions with her feel like spending time with a family friend; she's able to take any worries about everyone looking their best or the uncertainties of the weather or if your bangs are in the right place and turn it all into a relaxed moment with the people you love best. We did family pictures with Jenny for my daughter's second birthday. It was so much fun! My daughter is kind of shy with new people, and she trusted Jenny right away. Jenny has been doing our family photos for almost six years and I have never wanted anyone else to capture my family. She makes us all feel relaxed, have fun and we never look posed or bored.
