the smith family

I was swooning hard before, during and after the hour I spent with these guys. Not only are they old friends, they’re the best kind of people. The kids are fun, so sweet, love to get dirty (so we did), and they squeeze fun out of everything. Love them! Justine and Andrew were among the first crop of families to ever trust me with my camera, and now their babies are huge! I’m forever grateful to capture days like these for them.
The last time I photographed Ridge, he was a squinty, squirmy newborn. He is on the move now, and doesn’t want to be slowed down for anything. His smile = pure sunshine (see above). Trey’s laugh comes out so easily. He is easy-going, strikingly mature, and an awesome big brother to both Adynn and Ridge.  All the heart eyes. Oh, and if anyone is needing spring session clothing inspiration, look no further. Miss Adynn. What a lovely sweetheart. She’s calm and collected, but also fiery – a pretty awesome combo.  Muddy & happy. If you’ve ever read my blog before, you know I *HIGHLY* prioritize photographing mom and dad alone. Because, when’s the last time you and your husband took a good photo together? Right. This photo on the left is going to matter so dang much to those sweet kids on the right, especially years down the road.
