the deriese family

When I get the chance to hang with a family that has three fantastic little BOYS, it’s such a treat for me. I mean, I spend lots of time doing girly things with my two daughters – I absolutely love it, but hanging with the boys is a pretty fun change for a day. These three brothers are full of such a passionate zest for life. They are tough, brave, wild and adventurous, but also soooo very sweet. The highlight of our session was one of them stepping on a snake. Their mom and I screamed (of course), and they just thought it was the best. Boys are awesome.

Isn’t Brynley so gorgeous? Dang, mama! Meet Bodey. He’s five (obviously). He’s the gentle leader of the pack, and I get the sense he’s soaking in so much every day and learning things like crazy. He has lots to say, and I think lots to teach anyone who’s lucky enough to listen. Next is Brigston, on the left, who could have modeled for my camera ALL DAY. Gosh, I would’ve let him. Such a cutie, and such a ham. He’ll be providing this family with laughter for a long time. And on the right is Behrett, Behr, Ray-Ray. Ohhhh he is the sweetest. That’s my only word for him. He does not have a look that is not sweet. I melt over this image!I’m telling you guys, my job is the best. Look at these smiles!!! I think they’re off to Neverland in this one…
Scott and Brynley, you guys are fantastic – such awesome parents, so much fun and it’s clear you both know how to laugh and not take life too seriously. Winning combo! Your boys are so lucky. They each picked a tree to take a picture next to. I loved Bodey’s choice of a big dead branch on the ground he had to hold up. 😀 You keep doin’ your thing, Bodey!
Seriously, hanging with these guys for the evening was just good for my soul. Long live laid-back family nights!!! Hugs and high fives to this incredible crew. 🙂
