These guys are such dear friends, and while I’m not thrilled they moved away from Lincoln (lucky Iowa…), I’m over the moon that they came back through for a photo session with their sweet baby Lila! Lila is just one week younger than my youngest daughter, and it is SO fun to photograph a baby the same age as one I have at home. 🙂 Plus, Mike and Laura are hilarious so on top of all the cuteness, I got to enjoy a few laughs with them.
Let’s kick things off with some “new mama” vibes. Hello, gorgeous!
I’ve laughed every single time I have looked at this image. Lila’s smile is this jaw-wide-open grin, and it mirrors Mike’s expression to a “t”. Laura kept teasing Mike because the open mouth is his go-to picture pose. Looks like Lila’s catching on. 😉I can’t get enough of her sweet face!!!
The next two tie as my favorites because A) light, B) family, and C) laughter. AND, I love how Lila is perched. Baby squishes are everything. You guys are so good together and I’m really happy these photos happened. Just really, really happy.
