Say hello to Bruce & Donna! Every single person in their family, down to the littlest grandkid (ok, especially the littlest grandkid) has a super contagious smile, and I couldn’t have had more fun photographing them. Meet the Schulz family!

This is my favorite photo of the entire session. These two people are very, very, very, very important to me. Nicki possesses the deepest well of patience known to man. She watches my sweet & spicy almost-2-year-old along with a handful of other fantastic kids a few days a week, allowing me to get some work done. And Justin is totally cool with them all running crazy around his house. These guys pretty much make my business possible, and I love them for it. Also, Nicki, you’re so beautiful!
Meet Logan. He is officially hired as my new assistant as he can make anybody laugh their most beautiful, genuine laugh. I was constantly calling for him to come stand behind my camera and get to work!
And hello, gorgeous Hailey! Lots of girls her age would have been self-conscious in front of a camera, but she was totally confident and pretty much rocked it. Get it, girl.
And then there’s Hudson. The oldest. Mr. Laid Back. Smiles with his eyes and makes everyone he talks to feel important and valued. I think he’s an old soul. 🙂
As a life rule, I eat a lot of ice cream and have had this exact photo in mind for years of frequenting the Dairy Store. Pretty happy to have finally gotten it done!

I love grandparent portraits. What an amazing photo to have, not only for Bruce and Donna, but for the kids. I so wish I had images like this with my grandparents.
These two are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this year. That’s a lot of years of hard work, and you can tell they are still so in love. 
What do I even say about Carter? Obviously, he loved having a strange lady all up in his business, making people hold him still and get him to giggle. I think he thought he outsmarted me, but I have my ways…
Also, this. 🙂 He loooooves his cousins.
It seems too obvious to point out where Carter’s cuteness comes from. Josh & Jill have matching crinkle smiles that are way too sweet. And Jill is 5 months pregnant with another little one, and she looks amazing!
