waffle bar baby shower

Because all women, pregnant or not, should enjoy a decadent waffle from time to time. 🙂
These are just a few snapshots of the shower we (myself, my mom, and my fabulous friend Amy) threw my sister to celebrate and prep for the little man who is due TOMORROW!!! I am anxiously awaiting his arrival and blogging about his shower is my distraction of choice. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that after you throw together the decor for a shower at the last minute, the guests arrive as you’re still setting things out and you have about twenty seconds to snap pictures before you let everyone dig into the food. That happened here. Oh well.

The baby blocks were painted by my talented mother, and the wooden forks are from Sucre Shop – very cute, obviously.

I did actually put punch in the beverage server…just not before I photographed it. Heh – oops!

The print is by Lindsay Letters and is awesome. It went home to the little one’s nursery after the shower. Decor that doubles as a gift? Yes, please. 🙂
